Golden Eagle Summit Hotel - Kunming

Spacious room, comfortable bed, superb pillows, good desserts, great location, fast and efficient service.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Room was good sized, it was enough for me. Lovely base for weekend in Kunming.

I was really surprised by my recent stay at the Golden Eagle Summit. The location was superb, just a couple of blocks from the main shopping area which was very convenient. The room itself was excellent, with a comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, and fast internet. I really appreciated the extensive selection of vegetables at breakfast, especially as a non-meat eater. The congee options were delicious and the noodle corner catered to personal preferences. The hotel's security was great and I felt safe walking around even late at night. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast.

the location is perfect, with a lot of exclusive shopping options and eateries nearby. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the private facilities available. the room was clean, spacious, and equipped with luxurious amenities, such as a cozy bed, a large LCD TV, and premium toiletries. the service was prompt and efficient, and my requests were attended to promptly. the restaurant offered an excellent spread of local and international cuisines.

The only minor issue I encountered was with the air conditioning system, which was centrally controlled. It was switched off during the early morning hours, which made the room feel stuffy and warm.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location in the center of the city was perfect - it was right next to a large shopping mall that had many restaurants. The cleanliness of the room was great, and the hotel facilities were great too.

The hotel had decent amenities and the room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the bathroom was clean. The hotel was located in a great spot that was easily accessible to public transportation and local food markets. We were able to enjoy some great dishes that were prepared by local street vendors within walking distance of the hotel.

The staff was very slow to respond to any requests or concerns that we had during our stay. we had to return to the front desk multiple times to have our room key reprogrammed.

The hotel had a great location and was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. the rooms were spacious, clean, well, equipped and had plenty of bottled water. the staff was friendly, accommodating and spoke reasonably good English.

The check, in experience was frustrating as the reception was understaffed resulting in a long queue. the level of spoken English of the staff could be improved for better communication.

The hotel is located in a very central area, just a short walk to large shopping malls and a variety of restaurants. the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a good selection of TV channels. the bathroom is well-equipped, with a separate bath and shower and a window for natural light. the staff are friendly, accommodating, and speak decent English. the breakfast has a decent selection of food, including a local noodle corner.

The hotel can be quite smoky in public areas.
